2025 Monthly Workday Schedule

Join the volunteer steward at the Sanctuary for our monthly scheduled workdays! Workdays are held on the third Saturday of the month from 10am - 12pm. On days when no special events are scheduled, volunteers help with clearing trash, cutting back or digging up invasive species, planting native species, and other routine care for the natural area. This page will be regularly updated as events are confirmed.

All ages and abilities are welcome to join workdays! We meet at the entrance to the Nature Sanctuary, located next to the South Shore Beach House and behind the South Shore Cultural Center. Volunteers should bring a water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing. Tools, gloves, and all other supplies are provided.
